Garris
Neil Yarborough
Garris Neil Yarborough is a graduate of the University of
North Carolina (B.A., 1973; J.D., 1977) and Duke University (M.P.P.S.,
1977). In addition to his private practice in Cumberland
County, he is currently the County Attorney of Hoke County and
the Town Attorney of St. Pauls in Robeson County. He is a
Certified Superior Court Mediator. He has also served two
terms as the County Attorney of Cumberland County (1982-1988
and 1994-1999). He is a former member of the Board of Trustees
of Cape Fear Valley Medical Center and the Board of Directors
of the Fayetteville YMCA. He is a former President of the
Cumberland County Chapter of the American Red Cross, the Cape
Fear Toastmasters Club and the Cumberland County Shrine Club.
He has also served as President the Cumberland County Bar
Association and the 12th Judicial Bar District. He is past
President of the North Carolina County Attorney's Association
and a former member of the Board of Directors of the North
Carolina Municipal Attorney's Association. His Professional
Memberships also include the American Bar Association, the
North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers and the North Carolina
Bar Association (Construction Law Section, Administrative Law
Section and Real Estate Law Section). He is a Member of the
Professional Construction Estimators Association of America.
He has previously been a member of the Panel of Arbitrators
for the American Arbitration Association.
Ad Winters
Ad
Winters is a graduate of Georgetown University (B.A., 1980)
and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (J.D.,
1983). He was Co-Author of "Construction and Design Law" from
1985-1994 and the Managing Editor for "Construction and Design
Law Digest" from 1988-1994. He is a member of the North
Carolina Bar Association (Construction Law Section, Litigation
Section and Dispute Resolution Section), the Cumberland County
Bar Association and a Certified Superior Court Mediator. He is
also a Council Member of the Construction Law Section of the
North Carolina Bar Association and a Member of the
Professional Construction Estimators Association of America.
John
H. Jackson
John H. Jackson is a graduate of Henderson State University (B.S.E.,
1962), University of Arkansas (J.D. 1971) and Southwestern
School of Banking (SMU-Dallas). He was the City Attorney for
Gurdon, Arkansas from 1971-1989 and a Juvenile Judge in Clark
County, Arkansas from 1982-1988. He is currently the Town
Attorney for the Town of Stedman and the Town of Wade, Town
Attorney for Spring Lake and Counsel for Mid-Carolina Council
of Governments. He is a retired military Colonel for the Army
(Special Forces). He is a member of the North Carolina Bar
Association and the Cumberland County Bar Association and a
Certified Superior Court Mediator.
Barry
K. Simmons
Barry K. Simmons is a graduate of East Carolina University
(B.S., Accounting and Business Administration, 1976), Georgia
College (M.B.A., 1982), Walter F. George School of Law, Mercer
University (J.D., 1983) and University of Virginia (LL.M.,
1987). He was a Staff Attorney for NC Employment Security
Commission from 2000-2001. He is a member of the North
Carolina Bar Association (Business Law and Intellectual
Property Sections) and the NC Bar Committee on Legal
Assistance to Military Personnel (LAMP).

Berg
Jana L. Berg is a graduate of Campbell University (B.A., 1998)
and Campbell University School of Law (J.D., 2001). She is a
member of the North Carolina Bar Association, Cumberland
County Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of
America and the Society of Barristers.
